If you do a Google search you'll find a business listing for a Widmore Pharmacy. The data sheet (the part you can access free-of-charge) says they're located at
195 Widmore Rd, Bromley, England
Their business info says:
Proprietary Stores
Line of business: Drug Stores And Proprietary Stores

Widmore is a section of the Borough of Bromley which is in London.

Might the preg test be one of Widmore Pharmacy's proprietary (marketed under their own name) products? If so, that might mean the origin of the preg test was in luggage of an English citizen on the flight.

Any UK residents on the board that recognize this as being a real product?

If it is a real product, then the significance of the preg test, if there is any, would probably lie in some other aspect of it, not its name. I would think the writers, producers, etc. would be running a risk to connect a real world business to the mythology of the show.

As to real world connected to show---------didn't Matt Fox have tatoos before getting Jack role? Now they'r part of the myth. So real and show are intertwined.?

There's a new promo pic out for Lockdown... why it came out after the episode aired, I don't know... just to add to the mystery I guess. Anyway, it's a pic of the tanks on the hot air balloon. written just above the tanks is "Widmore Labs". This could add to the theory that Widmore and Dharma are somehow related. Or it could be, like UNHATCHED posted, that Widmore is Dharma's nemesis, and the real Henry Gale worked for Widmore.

That leads you to a book site- they don't seem related though.

Well, my research show that the site administrator is a genealogy expert called Adrian Brisee from Irwin Iowa.

Also note that onentofl.com is a site about genealogy also registered by Adrian. Another thing, a google of Adrian Brisee shows that he and his wife bought an old school to create genealogy center ( see article here).

All of this leads me to believe that either our friend Adrian is a big fan of LOST and he created a bogus site just for the heck of it OR the prodcution team behind the show created one heck of a smoke screen.

Ok, further - On the Widmore site, if you view the source, under the meta tags there is a list of keywords that will call the site, one is "Truffulatribe" . So, go to http://www.truffulatribe.com/ . There is a reference to a Mr. Brisee, and links to other sites... And the numbers 4 8 15 *bork* 23 42 are featured... still exploring.
I think all these sites are anagrams, truffulatribe is probably a scrambled clue, and as we follow these sites, they probably give us something good... We need to work on putting them in order.

If you look at the status bar when the site is loading you can see that the original site is also onentofl. It says truffulatribe.onentofl... Some pics are actually hosted on onentofl.

In the members section of truffula there's a pic of Sawyer... this smells like a fan site...

Some of the pics show photoshopped dharma logos and there's one with a pic of one of the characters of Harry Potter (the dude with the mecanical eye from the 4th movie).

**edit** According to the source, the site was made in Sitebuilder and most of the pics are cliparts from that program. I think that the "tribe" is just a group of fans.
