The nursery and the airplane mobile

That nursery had been there for a long time. The decorations on the walls left outlines. Perhaps that is where Alex was kept.

... appeared to Claire in her nightmare prior to being taken by Ethan. This fits with other premonition dreams in the show (Locke seeing Boone all bloodied and seeing the beechcraft plane, Claire dreaming about the needle).

The mobile has "Oceanic" logos on the planes.

The music played by the airplane mobile ("catch a falling star and put it in your pocket") was the same music Claire asked the would-be adoptive parents about in the scene in season 1. When she was about to sign the adoption papers, she asked if they would sing that song to the baby, and the adoption mother, said she would. Claire said that her mother used to sing her that song. I don't know if that was coincidence or a connection, but thought it was interesting.

Could Claire herself have been raised by the Others, or by the Dharma initiative or is there a connection to her own mother?

Here's a big open question: Was the seer who sent Claire on flight 815 trying to save Aaron from being given away in Sydney, or was he sending Aaron to the Others? He did warn Claire to raise the baby herself, so I lean toward him trying to save Aaron, or avoid some terrible outcome if others raise him, but still, it's confusing.

I think the psychic was from Dharma. He wanted her to get on that plane.

You know what I think was weird? That Claire was knitting. She doesn't strike me as the knitting type, and even if she was, she was so drugged she could barely walk. How could she have the coordination to knit a bootie?

I do not think the phsycic was a dharma-dude, at first that is! He saw his future and was afraid, dharma convinced him to do it, so he did. Whether they explained Aarons purpose or paid the phsycic, they convinced him some how.

It freaked me out when Claire gave the bootie to Aaron and he put it in his mouth. I was thinking, well, he wasn't infected before, but he is now...

I thought the same thing, I deal with people daily when I want to yell at them saying "WASH YOUR HANDS!". People are so careless, so they are always catching something. They ask, what the heck toad, why are you like that? I respond I dont want to get sick like you!

Today someone was talking to me when someone did something that made me cringe, "what? Ohhh, *softly says* JewTOAD (said my real name though)" He said Jew very quietly though, but I heard.

Are the airplanes in the nursery and the one that Kate has the same type. i think that should be a good connection. She had that airplane in a safety deposit box, it must be very valuable. Maybe Kate the Army girl was actually raised by the Others. Hmmmm

Yeah I agree that could have been the case... I'm just saying one way or another, Dharma worked through the psychic to get her on the plane.

Well, I wouldn't have pegged Kate as a sewing-machine queen, but she did sew the drapes in her apartment. Who knows when these girls learned to do these things?

What does everyone think about the metalic star in the middle of the planes on the mobile? is it decoration or does it stand for something on the island that makes that planes come down? (a magnetic force)
