Oh please, the things I have dug out of my kids mouths - moths, dog food,
paint, dryer lint, the list goes on and they are rarely sick.
Kids put everything in their mouth.

I do agree about the drugged thing. She is kept so drugged at all times
that she is not afraid of Ethan or freaked out by being kidnapped, but
she can knit. I have also wondered - if she was that drugged would she
be able to recall such details - even under hypnosis?

When I saw the ep I did not think that Claire was actually knitting. One, she had no yarn and two, the knitting needle she had just looked like a long stick. I believe that knitting requires two needles. Crocheting uses only one crochet hook, but it has a hook on one end. I did not think that what Claire had looked like knitting needles or a crochet hook. I think it was just part of the mind game the others were playing with her. They handed her the bootie and told her to "knit" it and in her drugged up state she imagined she was knitting.

I thought it was adorable when Aaron put the bootie in his mouth. It is just what my 6-month old daughter would do, although not entirely age-appropriate behavior for the age Aaron is supposed to be.
