I am going back to the flashlight, torch debate. At first I thought they just used torches whenever possible to save the flashlight batteries as much as
possible. When the others surrounding Zeke l used torches it made sense because torches would prove others were there but they didn't need much light. But when Kate, Danielle and Claire went into the medical Hatch - lo and behold there is a whole box of flashlights. Why? Does the electricity periodically go out and they need them? Or was it at the entrance/exit because they go into the jungle a lot and need them. The hatch appears to be abandoned, but the electricity is still on and apparently Zeke and company
go in there for costume changes.
Also, something I have mentioned before. Why is the Dharma logo
on everything? even the cards and flashlights. It reminds me of clothing labels for kids going to camp.

They used torches in the jungle to keep up the deception that they are a 'wild tribe'...whereas we now know that's b.s.

Lost is a big tale of deceptions...perhaps it's really just about finding Truth.

That would make sense except their cover is blown.

My name is Lucy - I'm a newbie to this forum

I just saw this episode in New Zealand where I live last night, so don't know what happens in the rest of the season (please don't tell me!)

But I have noticed the 'others' tend to have some fascination with kids...do you think they are keeping Walt in the place Claire was kept? I mean they've probably moved on as it was abandoned but do you think he's in a similar arrangement? They also took the boy and the girl from the tail end of the plane and of course Rousseau's Alex.

Maybe they take kids so they can raise them as their own? My other theory is that the whole programme is a grand scale human experiment and they take the kids to keep them save and make sure they have medical attention etc?

Who knows.

They do seem fascinated with children all right. The hatch where Claire was kept is now abandoned or at least appeared to be. They have moved on
and taken everyone and everything with them.
