did anyone catch the homage to stephen king??? it's no secret that king loves LOST! it's been posted on many sites. i thought it was nice that the writers acknowledged king as being a fan by having mr. oz ask for a stephen king book to read.

Dark Tower is VERY Lost-like..

With that being said that gives us a good time line for the period of the show. We know it is either present time or in the future. I don't know how well of a homage it was considering they were saying how outdated the library was.
And by the way, I have been reading the site for a couple of weeks now and think everyone on here is great.

Back to the torches-the flashlights in the hatch worked,you don'thave to worry about catching on fire or such,also,torches only light up around you,not send a beam out,so why torches?

I think maybe the writers wanted us to draw the conclusion that Zeke's gang and the Dharmans are one and the same.

When I saw the flashlights, I automatically thought of CSI, the show that loves to use flashlights WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

hi, me too,
i've been around here from the start of the site but never write before because my english isn't that much, I'm a country-follow of Sayid ,from Iraq, and the only thing that i think lost didn't do right is when Sayid has flash-back they make the conversation between the Iraqi officers by english language and that is not true !! why they didn't make it all by the original language , Arabic, and subtitle it with english just like what they are doing with Sun and Jin , Korean langauge all the time in the flash back .

Good point, but I thought they did have some Iraqi sub-titles in 'One of Them'. I remember because they had a big weather warning at the bottom of my TV screen throughout most of the show and I couldn't read the whole thing.

I agree,but mabe it's like other shows,when alone,the characters automaticly speak English..(Hope you'r staying safe )
