Hatch sounds

Did anyone else notice the sounds that were forming when the clock hit zero? Well of course you did unless you are not a LOST fan, I mean you were probaly at the edge of your seat.

From watching that part again, I think the sound was one of two things....Either a circuit board going mad, or the blastdoors closing and gearing up.

What do you think that strange sound was coming from?

I think the doors started to close.

something arming up---mabe the generator?

May it was the 'security system' getting ready to go into overdrive or something...

It definatelly sounded like an engine gearing up..

To me, it sounded like the hatch was sealing up and a major s*** storm was about to be brewing.

I though the doors were locking and gas was releasing.

I was waiting for those blast doors to come crashing down and trap them in
the hatch.

My husband has spent a great deal of time dealing with hydrolic motors and, he said as soon as he heard it he thought it sounded like hydrolics pressuring up. Not that they were running yet, but they were building pressure and did not finish before Locke stopped them. He said they sounded VERY BIG! On the level of a car crusher.

i was distracted to say the least, i was to busy flippin out about the clock before i realized anything else was going on.

looks like i'll have to download that episode!
