Dr. Juliet Burke

Dr. Juliet Burke (née Carlson) is a member of the Others. She seems unhappy with her allegiance (particularly, it seems, with Ben's position of authority), and lives at the Barracks. Juliet is a calm, intelligent woman with a background in medicine, but unhappy with her private life and will do anything to get off the Island. However, it seems Juliet has betrayed her people and joined the survivors in wanting off the island.

Default Sayid and Charlie

So what do you think of that little thing between Charlie and Sayid at the end of the show? My opinion: Charlie is an Other, or at least a traitor (working with the Others) and Sayid is on to him.

I agree, that thought also crossed my mind, or Sayid is gathering supporters for his cause and he is starting with one of the others victims.

OR both.

Hmmmm, that could be Sayid's intention, but the look Charlie gave him seemed pretty telling to me.

I just think that Sayid may know that Charlie knows where the guns are hidden because they might be needing them.

Sort of sounded like Sayid was baiting Charlie to see what he'd say to incriminate himself as traitor/Other. Considering Sayid's experience in gathering intelligence, if Charlie doesn't "bite" on one of Sayid's sympathetic conversational comments, we might see another torture session.

Once again, I might be 2Naive (get it... that's my screen name! ha!) but I thought he was just talking to Charlie to get him to be on his side -- "Charilie, you remember when they took you. I really hurt one of them and you understand and support me, right? cuz you remember, right?"

Maybe I'm trying to say he ws trying to get some empathy from Charlie.

But after reading your posts above, I'm wondering if maybe he has suspisions about Charlie taking Sun? and that was a warning to Charlie.

Did you notice in the "previously on LOST' part, they scanned past a shot of Charlie hanging? Was that to remind us that Charlie... died???

I'm not buying Charlie is a part of "the others". We basically know that Ethan alone and that Kate and Jack were closely tracking them. So, Ethan must have "brainwashed him" or something really fast, and then after taking the time to covert charlie to otherness, he goes on to kill him. Why would he want to kill him if he was trying to get convert him??? And do it all in record time knowing that Kate and Jack were right behind him. Sounds like a bit much. I think that when Sayid was talking to him, he wanted support and Sayid may be on the fact that Charlie knew where the guns are. Sayid is a logical man. I think he knows that Sawyer couldn't have stolen the guns alone, and who logically would help him...someone who who has nothing to lose and wants to get back at Locke. I just think Charlie being an other is wat out in left field.

Me too neither. Charlie was only gone for a few hours.
It was very strange the Sayid said to Charlie, I knew he was an other because I felt no guilt. At first I thought he was explaining why he was
so violent with Uncle Henry, Charlie didn't see that so why does Sayid
confide this in him? It was just such a weird scene.
Maybe he knows Charlie should feel the most hatred of the Others besides
himself (he blames the Others for Shannon's death) and Charlie will
help the others in camp understand what has to happen in all out war.

I think Charlie shot Ethan to shut him up...why would'nt he want to know what Ethan knew, even if only to learn why Claire was taken and what happened, and THEN shoot him...maybe 'cause it's an Other's duty to keep secrets, and Charlie was just doing his duty.?
