A pretty good episode, nowhere near the best but still amazing.

I will start with the positives, the number countdown was worth it (we did not learn TOO much but still) it is obvious that they were hieroglyphics. I plan to Google crazy for awhile until I find out what they mean.

Sayids flashbacks were amazing! With Kates father, and the amazing acting done by Sayid. Though some of the CGI was a ****e, when you see the first helicopter near the beginning of the episode, yeah that was a disgrace.

I was happy to see Danielle again, she always adds a "what the hell id she getting at?" vibe to the show. And her crossbow kicked arse!

Hmmm, Mr. Minnesota (my nickname for him) he was extremely intriguing, I plan to right a thread on him...

So what did you guys think about the episode?

It was rather strange- I'mnot sure how to describe it. I also was glad to see
Danielle back. I trust Sayid's instinct about Mr. Minnesota - I don't know why.
The parts with Sawyer were BIZARRE. Last night or the night before(on the island time line) he's ranting and swaggering about being the new sheriff, but
a day or two later - he's back sleeping in his shelter among all the others. Was that weird to anybody else. And the scenes with Hurley (don't forget to
add to the nickname list, JT) For a minute I thought Hurley was going to
stand up to him - then he doesn't, not really or did he - do you see what I
mean. And Sawyer pleading with him to catch the frog - and there's only
one frog in that section of the island. Those scenes were strange.
But I LOVED Jack holding Locke back from pushing the button.

Good, but not the best one, I agree. I didn't make the connection that it was Kate's father who talked with Sayid the first time. How did the video in the recruitment office work with that timing?

I also was confused at how the beach crew let Sawyer just relax around them, at least Jin was mad and huffy. And the tough man went chasing after a little frog? Seriously? And leave his rifle in his hut? Stupid!

Flashbacks were awesome, take me back to the war...my dad's only tour of duty was in Kuwait. Good to know Sayid didn't want to become a torturer.

And I officially declare Jack an idiot. I sided with Locke this episode. And I totally thought Sayid was going to call Charlie out for what he did. Instead, he raised the points we've been making...Jack and Locke and everyone has forgotten events that happened just a week or so ago...Charlie strung up on a tree, Claire kidnapped. Hello! Thank you Sayid!

Stupid clock ticking down and teasing us with the heiroglyophics. Toad, make us proud with your research!

I think it was great but, any time the show spends time on Sayid I like it.
The tention is building. It is coming to a head. I think they should have showed a little more spite towards Sawyer. That poor frog. I hope it was one from the poison dart family and he gets sick.

Lots to look at and, look up. Did anyone else notice the numbers on the tape Sayid watched? I have to rewatch it but I'm fairly sure it was 23108-42. I'm sure if it's not you'll let me know.

I think it was OK, i have slightly dissapointed whit a couple of the more recent episodes, but this one really pepped me back up

I love them all! It was very good to see someone remember how ruthless the "others" are. Sayid is very smart, but I worry about his emotional state. And my Sawyer, well there's got to be more going on with him than just being mean.

I hope...

Sayids flashbacks : Wow, I just loved them. And he is so cute!

My sister loves Sayid too, she gives me a hard time about Sawyer. Like everyones perfect...

I liked Sayid's hair in the flashbacks.
