Mr. Eko
Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

Long-con Locke's Laughing Last?
Did Locke play the players? Or did he just choose sides? Think about it:
He tells Jack that the meds should get locked in with Guns & Drugs...who's got the Meds? Sawyer! Jack confronts Sawyer, who's a "I get mad AND even", type of guy.
Jack comes to the hatch and Sawyer's sitting around popping his newfound meds he's just gotten back, while Locke is running around hiding guns.
here's the rub...Sawyer cant track worth a damn, but somehow finds Locke's hideout...meanwhile Locke is a great tracker and could easily trace the guns' movement to where Sawyer took them...
Either he's put one over on them all, including Sawyer, or he just made a pact with him. But if he did, it means he had a hand in the harming of Sun as well, and dont know how I feel about that.

I don't think Sawyer found Locke's hideout; I think Charlie followed him after he created the Sun abduction issue to see where he hid the guns then told Sawyer (in an unseen conversation). Sawyer wouldn't have had to track Locke's route. If that's not what happened and Locke is involved, then Charlie's stated reason for agreeing to help Sawyer -- to get back at Locke -- wouldn't have been reasonable since helping Locke/Sawyer wouldn't serve to get back at anyone.
If Locke is conning the con, he's conning everyone else as well.

Yup....but it's not an 'evil' con, I dont think. So...what does the Man of Fate and Destiny WANT anyway? He says he's "looked into the eye of the Island and it is Beautiful!". He thinks he is especially gifted with an insight to all of this "everybody gets a new life on the island" stuff. He really believes he has the wisdom to get them all to their destinies and will do what is needed to pull it off...and he HAS CONNED others before (Boone, Charlie), thinking it was the right thing to do.
Remember what Sawyer said to his con-gal-pal Cassidy, that the long-con was about getting someone to do something as though it was their own idea...Locke IMO has developped uncanny-good insight into people. He set up Sawyer the con-man via Jack, who in turn set up Charlie....who wanted desperately to make Locke look bad.
In the end, it is Sawyer's plan that will backfire on Charlie and also Sawyer, cause when Kate blabs what she knows Jin et al will put paid to 'em and THEY will be the losers...masterfully out-conned by Locke.
Also, Sawyer will realize Kate is a real security issue for him so she better watch it.

I believe you are all correct...Charlie the accomplice was not mentioned by name...it's just that Kate knows it's Sawyer's doing, that she was WITH him at the time of the attack, so he must have had an accomplice, and she has the fabric they left as a clue...she or Locke will figure it out...and then the fur will fly...

Incidentally, how come nobody called me out on the "choose sides" reference?
Let me explain:
Locke moves the guns from a lockup room to the very UN-locked Jungle...he as much as anyone else KNOWS FOR CERTAIN that the Zeke squad knows a whole lot about what they're up to...so he HAS to assume they could well know about a big stash of guns ready for the taking.
1) He either KNOWS they cant or wont come and get them
2) He is 'giving' them the guns
We shall see...
