I too, think that Locke was stupid. Like I said earlier, he thought he should have control of the guns. He feared Jack was going to give everyone a gun and they would all go and shoot themselves. He even said he regretted teaching Michael how to shoot (i.e. protect himself).

First - I think Jack would've put the guns in the hands of those who knew how to use one responsibly. Second - they wouldn't shoot each other. Third - Locke's stupidity led to the guns getting in the wrong hands. Way to feakin' go, John!

I want to know why Jack is so gunhappy. For a spinal doc, he's very explosive, very impulsive..

Here Here Peg.

Locke did what was right, Jack was about to go trudging in to the hatch without consulting Locke about the guns. Jack was going to break his fair end of the deal. I would have done the same thing, by not letting a group of pescimists (at that moment they were) romp through the jungle shooting people (for no reason).

James played Locke, he also played Jack, and Kate, and all of the losties (save Charlie).

By the way, i think Charlie need another whuppin!

We dont know that!

To be fair, we dont know he was not planning to talk to Locke, as they had agreed. Locke was in the Hatch, so far as Jack knew.

Do you really think that Jack would stop for Locke? Jack has had it up to here with Locke, that monger would go in there and take what he wanted without a care in the world about what Locke thinks.

Jack wants to kill the others, but the others will kill them! Stay on one side on the Island, lay low, that is what they asked of him, it is not that hard(unless you are thirsty for blood).
