Johnathan "John" Locke

Johnathan "John" Locke is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. His paralysis was immediately healed upon crashing on the Island, which has ultimately led him to believe he has some sort of special connection to the Island. He is sometimes shown in antithesis to Benjamin Linus, sharing several traits including the ability to commune with Jacob. Seen as antithetical to Jack Shephard, he and Jack are philosophical opposites and used to share leadership among the survivors, but now seems to be creating his own agenda for his actions on the Island and has broken off from the survivors.

I am just tired of hearing people saying "How dare Locke hit the lieng, fire starting, and baby stealing jackarse"

I would have bonked him in the schnozz as well.

I wouldn't do something like that. I felt sorry for charlie, first of all Why didn't locke burn all of the drugs charlie had, secondly Charlie never took any of them drugs yet, thirdly that baby is so damn cute and chubby (in a good way), and he didn't mean to do any harm to the baby he just misunderstood what his dream meant. I hope things'll get better for him, and yes I know what he did was kind of stupid.

I guess it was alright for locke to hit Charlie , since he didn't see his dream/vision .... Hhum..... I wonder why no one gave Locke the BIG one two after his dream/vision got Boone killed AND he lied to Jack about how Boone got hurt , with Boone's fresh blood covering his self-righteous body ?????? I guess his not having overcome a drug addiction makes him a better more trust worthy and forgivable human being ... and Kate's vision/halucination that caused her to run out the hatch and left Sawyer alone on death's bed , not to mention leaving her duty to push the dreaded button .... oh , yeah , she tells Jack , " I'm sorry I'm not as perfect as you ." That forgives everything ! Charlie should have tried that line on Locke , since Locke is perfect maybe he would have forgiven him too.
