Well, yes the Catholics believe in infant baptism - it was the statement that John the Baptist "realized he had cleansed Jesus of all His sins"...Christ was pure from birth, he was not baptized to be cleansed...but anyway.

As for your passage, Blackbird...this might just be a reference to Charlie who had been treated well and with some trust and now has to go through fire to be trusted again? I saw a short clip of him in the previews for the next episode...I wonder if he tries to redeem himself?
