What I find interesting is the tie-ins to Lost mythology here.
Linus the son of Apollo (Apollo candy bars)
Linus the infant given the Shepherds to raise (Jack?)
Linus torn apart by dogs leading Apollo to send a child-killing plague (the pregnancy problem) to Argos.
Linus the musician (make your own kind of music)
Seems to me a lot of the clues were already there before Ben ever introduced himself formally to Jack.
As for Ben forming his own nation of Israel, the only problem I have with this otherwise sound theory, is just how much can they expand as a new nation? The Island is only so big, where are they all going to live? Or, does the tv show really tie in to the Lost Experience, to the point where the virus manufactured by Thomas Mittleverk will wipe out a large portion of the Earth's population, allowing Linus to lead his people into their own chosen land?

Frank Drebin remembers a lost love.
Frank: It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.
Jane: Goodyear?
Frank: No, the worst.
