As for the Jacob and Locke getting shot.

These producers are seriously messing around with my head lol. Jacob is either the smoke or a ghost. I go with the smoke to be honest.

For Locke getting shot, he can't be dead. Remember that the island heals him. I mean he healed after his dad bit him in no time. I also believe that Locke got shot where his dad took his liver so perhaps it is just a flesh wound that the island can easily heal.

We shall see...
