CableRunner *double negative alert*: I don't think the island is not part of the multiverse. So you think the island is part of the multiverse, right? Couldn't your Saran Wrap analogy apply to the Umbrella Theory - the nylon of the umbrella between the timelines (which are the spokes of the umbrella) be pulled too tightly in some abberation and a hole is created and that hole in the umbrella, that void in the space, is where the island was created, and as the hole grows larger; the island grows larger too - filling the void. Or am I way off?
