Is it possible that the others were trying to re-establish contact with the outside world and that naomi was bringing that phone not for her own use but for the others. Naomi would have recognized the camping team using english and japanese so why use so many languages? I think she did it to search for a language that they wouldn't understand. so she could relay the fact she was not alone to Mikhail and after running away mikhail might of found this other helicopter passenger somehow and gotten their phone and presto the others are back in touch with the world. In fact maybe parachuting in was a fail safe plan the others use if they lost contact with the main land. Holy crap I just thought of something, maybe the dharma company on the mainland doesn't know the others have taken over their facilities.So naomi could be a dharma person trying to find out what's happened on the island, so mikhail comes running in his dharma jumpsuit to appear as one of them.
