I have to admit, they did that last bit really really well, it sorta tied Locke together. He got depressed because his father stole his kidney, then he was disabled cos his father pushed him out of a window, and he finally felt free because he would never see him again. Just as they'd finished what I feel will be the last Locke flashback, out of the blue his father was there. I was half expecting it to be something really weird, like his father but all mutated like that scene in Alien Ressurection with all the different Sigourney Weaver's..
I'll finish this post with a (loose) quote from season 1:
Walt : Do you have a father?
Locke : Everybody has a father.
Walt : Is he cool?
Locke : No. He's not cool.
