Walt told Michael the secret. Locke told Walt that it was a miracle they were alive.
Also, have you all forgotten that it wass Locke who knock out Sayidd when he was trying to triangulate the signal? That he also destroyed the transceiver?
Also, I think Mikhail was right when he looked at Locke and said, "Full of anger." I think Locke wants to get even with Ben for lying to him about what happened when Ben punched in the numbers after the timer counted down.
As for keeping his paralysis a secret, what was the first thing Jack suggested to Hurley when Hurley told him about the numbers? He suggested that Hurley was still mentally impaired. Which caused Hurley to say, "You know about that thing doctors have? Their bedside manner? Well, yours sucks."
Locke, for four years, felt totally helpless. His boss at the box factory hassled him for trying to act like he had legs ("Why do you keep trying to do stuff like this?" meaning the Walkabout). The steward and stewardess had to carry him onto the plane. He couldn't even get the brochure off the floor of the aircraft when he dropped it.
Would you want people to start treating you like you could become that way again at any time?
That's how Jack would have treated him. As a cripple, waiting to happen.
And (warning: highjacking of topic) what about Jack just turning his back on all the other passengers for a free ride home? Remember when he gave that speech when he was becoming the leader?
"If we don't all live together, we'll die alone."
Back to topic, I think Locke has decided the Dharma Project is an infection on the island and he's gonna remove it. And he's angry enough to do it. That's what the C4 is for.
