Yea Sawyer screwed up on this one.. Should have let Kate handle it.. I can see where Sawyer wants him to persue the one girl that he loves but I think that there are other ways he could have helped Karl.. Like when they go back for Jack (which I'm sure they will do) I think Sawyer is having trouble dealing with how Kate feels for him and Jack... He could tell she felt guilty for their cage lovin and now he is upset and confused... I think that he was giving Karl the advice he would do to get her back...
