The meds.

Last week we saw that Juliet had concocted some injectable medication that seemingly adresses fertility issues. Well, it certainly did for her sister. Big needle, right in the gut and presto, cat's in the cradle.

This is apparently quite interesting to Ethan and Co. Fast forward to the island where last season we see Claire injected by Ethan in the belly, just like Juliet did to Rachel.

The question is, if we are to assume Juliet's formula was imported to the island and it is the same drug therapy used on Claire...and we know the Dharma vials are all the same on the island...why did Desmond get told to inject himself with the same stuff?????
