She was his mind... so him lying on the ground in the forrest unconcious for a while ws what was actually happeiong while he was in his head arguing with the jewewrly lady, his physicist friend and Penny and ESPECIALLY himself....


I think the most interesting part of it all was this. Lindelof describes the des flashback as the following:

"in a way we never have before and never will again" Meaning that this type of flashback was unique. BUT HE DOES describe it as a flashback not time travel.

It reminds me of those dreams we all wish we could have more often. YOU know the ones i am talking about. The ones where you are in control of the dream as opposed to watching it or it happening.
