Anyway if Des didn't in fact crash the plane, and we find out somebody else did, and Des comes in contact with that person he might be a little upset. What if its both Smokey and Des? Des failing to push the button made the plane be pulled toward the island then Smokey being the protector of the island and all decided to rip it in apart? Aha!
