Here's why I say that is a good theory...It's
friggin LOST. Anything can happen. The story that he shot himself could be untrue. If you've been watching LOST, you'll know that there are many twists, and random things happen all the time.
The theory that it could be Radskinsky is an interesting thought since we don't know much about it, or if he's really dead.
However, I'm thinking it could be Jacob. But either is a possibility.
