I am Mary Beth. I'm 41. Both of my brothers and I are totally
obsessed with Lost. We have Lost preconferences and post conferences.
My husband likes it - but not obsessed. Neither of my sisters is in.
I have to admit that the reason I was drawn into the promos was
because of the close up of Dominic Monoghan saying "Guys, where are we?" for all those months leading to the premier. I am also a huge
LOTR fan. We have both versions of all 3 movies.
I will do anything to make sure I am home on Wednesdays - even though
we have Moxi (Like Tivo) recording the series.
What is the craziest thing ya'll have done to get home in time for Lost.
Last year my son's Karate class was from 6:00 to 6:50 (lLost came on
at 7:00 last year) and my son had strict orders to be the first to leave the Dojo on Wednesdays. I would be in the parking lot, engine running, door open so he could jump in and we could make it home in time. I would leave home with the TV on - on the right channel so I wouldn't risk missing a second ( we didn't have moxi then). One night he decided to get
a snack after class. I was sitting in the van watching the clock 6:52, 6:53
6:54. Finally I went storming into the Dojo and yelled "IT'S 5 MINUTES
TIL' 7:00 - ARE YOU CRAZY??!!?? As we were driving off I took the candy
he had bought and tossed it out the window. I was a lttle upset to say the
least. Not only did he buy candy that he is not allowed to have because of
his braces - he made me miss the 1st 3 minutes of Lost!!!
Mortal Sin in my book. Do you think I over reacted?
