my fanfic... it takes place during season 1 to start with and may well progress to during season 2... I own nothing except for The character Rain Cortez and people from her flashbacks who didnt appear in the show. I have no money, please nobody sue me!

okay well heres the first chapter! if people like it and give me feedback ill do more.

Fall Like Rain.


Rain swore violently, noticing a hole in her converse. Jack, who was stood nearby tried to say something, but ended up shaking his head and pursing his lips instead. He hated it when she swore, she could tell. And that made her do it all the more. Rain had done this her whole life. When she was four, she realised her mother hated it when Rain stomped around. So she did it all the more. When she was eight, she realised her teacher disliked her for pressing down too hard with the crayons. Rain had liked her teacher before, but when she realised this, she decided to hate her and took all the crayons out of the plastic red box on her the teachers desk, threw them on the floor and ground them into the carpet, while cheered on by her fellow classmates. After she had done this she turned to her teacher and called her all the names she had heard her mom call her dad when he walked out.
That was the first time Rain got suspended.
Rain now turned to Jack.
“Got something to say, Dad?” There was nobody on the whole island who antagonised Jack more than Rain, and they both new it.
“I told you to stop calling me that.” He muttered finally, embarrassed.
Of course Jack was not her father. He wasn’t even a blood relative. He was just one of the other survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. They had crashed here… fell from the sky.
She always knew she’d fall, one way or another. At the age of five her dad had told her he was a screw-up… and that she might turn out like him one day. Her mother had always told her, be more like your sister… why cant you follow her example… she’s a prefect… head girl… grade A student… Police officer. Why can’t you be more like Ana Lucia, Rain?
Rain hated her sister.
