If that was the case i think they would have been going for Jack since day 1. He hasnt really been attacked. Whats more is he went out to the clearing multiple times and wasnt taken. They do have him isolated though... We all could probably agree that he has been more of the main character since the pilot.

If they wanted him so bad why would they offer him a way off? maybe the better question is what do they need him for? i think it involves sawyer and kate...
