The only reason Hurley came in the first place was that he thought Gale was responsible for killing Libby. Even if he tells the rest of the Losties what happened, he doesn't seem likely to want to organize a rescue for Jack, Kate and Sawyer, especially since Jack nodded to him to go back as he was told. I doubt that Jack expects Hurley to come roaring back with the rest of the Losties to rescue them. Sayed and Jin might get up an infiltration raid (maybe using the boat again) but there won't be an all out war.
